Why get the official HighLevel certification
Picture a freelancer who has built a dozen HighLevel accounts. She knows funnels, workflows and calendars by heart. Then, on a sales call, a clinic owner asks a simple question: “Are you certified?” She is good, but she has nothing a client can verify. So the call ends with “let me think about it.”
That gap is exactly what the GoHighLevel certification closes. First, you train inside HighLevel’s private certification community. Next, you pass a live proctored exam. Finally, you earn the Certified Admin badge and can list yourself where businesses look for help. This page shows what you learn, what it costs and who it is really for.

- Live proctored exam
- Directory listing and certified-only jobs
- No long-term commitment
Annual
- Same benefits as monthly

Frequently asked questions
How much does the GoHighLevel certification cost?
It costs $97 per month or $970 per year, with the same benefits either way. It is also a separate subscription from your platform plan. Teams of more than 15 people can ask for enterprise pricing.
How long does it take to get certified?
HighLevel designed the course to be completed in 7 to 10 days at a steady pace. You can go faster, but HighLevel recommends focusing on mastery. After that, you book the live proctored exam.
How does the certification exam work?
You pass a live proctored exam, called Part B, to earn the Admin badge. However, HighLevel does not publish the exam length, passing score or question count on its certification page.
Do I have to recertify every year?
No. The Admin badge is valid for two years from the day you pass the live exam. To stay certified, though, you need at least two additional skill badges per year and an active subscription.
What happens if I cancel?
Your certification becomes inactive and you are removed from the directory. If you re-enroll within 90 days, you reactivate it without retaking the live exam. After 90 days, you need to retake it.
Is the training part of HighLevel University?
No. After you enroll, the materials are hosted in a private certification community. HighLevel notes that this is not inside HighLevel University.
Do I need a HighLevel account to practice?
The training is built around hands-on, real-world tasks, so an account to practice in helps a lot. If you do not have one yet, start with the 30-day free trial.
Ready to become a HighLevel Certified Admin?
Pick monthly or annual, block 7 to 10 days on your calendar and book your live exam once you finish. Then, the next time a client asks “are you certified?”, you will have a badge they can check.
