GoHighLevel Unlimited plan ($297/month): unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling and when it pays off

Leer en español: Plan Unlimited de GoHighLevel · Ler em português: Plano Unlimited do GoHighLevel · Part of the GoHighLevel pricing guide

Quick answer

The GoHighLevel Unlimited plan costs $297/month ($2,970/year). It has the same features as Starter but removes the three sub-account limit, so you can manage as many clients as you want, and lets you rebill phone, email and email validation to clients at cost. It does not include SaaS Mode, markup on usage or AI rebilling; those need Agency Pro ($497).

Hardly anyone picks the GoHighLevel Unlimited plan on day one. They get pushed into it by their fourth client. Starter covers three sub-accounts, the agency signs one more business, and suddenly the question is no longer “which plan has more features?” but “how many clients do I need before $297 a month makes sense?”

The answer is usually fewer than people think. This guide shows what Unlimited adds, how rebilling actually works, what it costs per client as you grow and the exact point where Agency Pro becomes the better deal.

What the GoHighLevel Unlimited plan adds to Starter

Every core feature is identical on the three plans: CRM, funnels, websites, inbox, workflows, calendars, reputation, courses, payments and the mobile app. Unlimited changes the agency side of the account:

Unlimited sub-accountsOne sub-account per client, with its own contacts, numbers, domains, users and reporting. No ceiling, no per-client fee from HighLevel.
Rebilling at costPhone, email and email validation usage generated by each client can be charged back to that client at HighLevel’s price, so it stops coming out of your margin.
Snapshots at scaleBuild your onboarding funnel, pipeline and workflows once, save them as a snapshot and load them into every new client in minutes.
Basic API accessLocation-level API keys for private integrations, reporting and syncing data with your other tools. Integrations and API guide.
Dedicated IP optionThe dedicated IP add-on ($59/month per sending domain) is only available on Unlimited and Agency Pro, useful for high-volume email clients.
Everything in StarterUnlimited contacts and users, the white label web app on your domain and 24/7 support. What Starter includes.

What “unlimited” means, and what it does not

Unlimited plan Notes
Sub-accounts Unlimited The main reason to upgrade from Starter
Contacts and users Unlimited Same as every plan
SMS, calls, email Billed by usage Can be rebilled to clients at cost
WhatsApp $10/month per sub-account + Meta fees Resold per sub-account, not rebilled
AI Employee and Voice AI Pay-per-use or $50/$97 per sub-account Rebilling AI requires Agency Pro
Markup on usage Not available Agency Pro only
SaaS Mode Not available Agency Pro only
API Basic, location-level keys Agency-level keys and OAuth need Agency Pro

How rebilling works on the Unlimited plan

HighLevel always charges your agency first, through the agency wallet. With rebilling turned on, the usage each client generates is then charged to that client, so the cost does not stay with you. On Unlimited the price is passed through exactly as HighLevel charges it; on Agency Pro you can add your own margin.

A simple example: a dental client sends 4,000 SMS segments a month and keeps one local number. That is about $29.88 in segments plus $1.15 for the number. On Starter, that $31 comes out of your fee every month. On Unlimited, the client pays it and your retainer stays whole. Multiply that by fifteen clients and rebilling alone covers most of the plan.

Item Official price When you pay it
Local phone number (US/Canada) $1.15/month Each number for SMS and calls
SMS (US/Canada) $0.00747 per segment + carrier fees Every text sent or received
Calls (US) $0.0166/min outbound, $0.01165/min inbound Calls through LC Phone
A2P 10DLC registration $22.50 one-time (low volume) + monthly campaign fee Before texting US numbers
Email (LC Email) $0.675 per 1,000 emails Campaigns and workflow emails
WhatsApp $10/month per sub-account + Meta fees If you use WhatsApp inside HighLevel
AI Pay-per-use, or $50 or $97/month per sub-account Voice AI, Conversation AI and other AI tools
Premium workflow steps $0.01 per run after 100 free Webhooks, Google Sheets, Slack, app actions

What the Unlimited plan costs per client

Number of clients Platform cost per client Compared with Starter
3 $99 Starter is cheaper ($32 per client)
5 $59.40 Starter cannot hold 5 sub-accounts
10 $29.70 Less per client than Starter at full capacity
20 $14.85 The plan becomes a rounding error in each retainer
40 $7.43 Your real costs are now usage and team time

Platform cost only ($297 ÷ clients). With rebilling turned on, phone and email usage is paid by each client. AI, WhatsApp and premium workflow steps depend on how you configure each sub-account.

The math is the point: the GoHighLevel Unlimited plan gets cheaper with every client you add, while most tools charge more per seat or per contact as you grow.

GoHighLevel Unlimited vs Agency Pro: which one do you need?

Agency Pro costs $200 more per month. You should pay it only if you will use what it adds. Two questions decide it:

Do you want to sell software, not just services?

SaaS Mode lets clients sign up and pay for your branded version of HighLevel on autopilot, with sub-accounts created automatically. If your model is retainers for done-for-you marketing, Unlimited is enough.

Would a markup on usage cover $200 a month?

With 15 clients spending $40 each on phone and email, a 35% markup earns about $210. Add AI Employee rebilling, which Unlimited cannot do, and Agency Pro often pays for itself.

Do you need agency-level API or team reporting?

Agency-level API keys, OAuth apps and user/agent reporting are Agency Pro features. Most small agencies do not need them yet.

Monthly or annual billing

Annual billing is $2,970 instead of $3,564, a saving of $594 a year. It makes sense once you have enough retainers to cover the plan for twelve months. Until then, stay monthly: upgrades are prorated and there is no contract. The annual plans are on HighLevel’s annual page.

Your first week on the Unlimited plan

  1. Day 1: brand the agency. Logo, custom domain for the web app, sending domain and your support email.
  2. Day 2: build a sandbox. Create an internal sub-account where you build and test everything before clients see it.
  3. Day 3: build your snapshot. Pipeline, booking calendar, five core workflows, a lead funnel and review requests for your niche.
  4. Day 4: turn on rebilling. Set up the agency wallet and enable phone and email rebilling for client sub-accounts.
  5. Day 5: move your first client. Create the sub-account, load the snapshot, connect their phone number, domain and channels.
  6. Day 6: register A2P and test. Register A2P 10DLC for US texting and run test contacts through every workflow.
  7. Day 7: repeat. Every new client is now a 30-minute snapshot deployment instead of a two-day build.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the GoHighLevel Unlimited plan?

$297 per month, or $2,970 per year with annual billing (two months free). Phone, SMS, email, WhatsApp and AI usage is billed on top, but on Unlimited you can rebill phone and email usage to your clients at cost.

Is the Unlimited plan really unlimited?

Sub-accounts, contacts and users are unlimited. Usage is not: every SMS, call minute, email, WhatsApp number and AI action is still billed. The difference from Starter is that you can pass phone and email costs to clients.

What is the difference between GoHighLevel Starter and Unlimited?

The features are the same. Starter is limited to 3 sub-accounts and you pay all usage yourself. Unlimited removes the sub-account limit, adds at-cost rebilling of phone, email and email validation, and lists basic API access.

What is the difference between GoHighLevel Unlimited and Agency Pro?

Agency Pro ($497) adds SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with your own markup (including AI Employee usage), user and agent reporting and advanced API access with agency-level keys.

Can I make money on usage with the Unlimited plan?

Not directly. On Unlimited, rebilling is at cost: clients pay exactly what HighLevel charges. To add a margin on phone, email or AI, you need Agency Pro. On Unlimited, agencies earn through their monthly retainer.

Does Unlimited include a white label mobile app?

No. The web app can run on your own domain with your branding on every plan, but a white label mobile app is a separate add-on ($497/month) and is included in Enterprise.

Can I switch from Unlimited to Agency Pro later?

Yes. Upgrades are prorated, and your sub-accounts, snapshots and workflows stay where they are.

Is there a free trial of the Unlimited plan?

Yes. HighLevel’s standard trial is 14 days on any plan. The bootcamp link on this page gives you 30 days and live onboarding sessions.
