GoHighLevel integrations fall into four layers that most guides collapse into one: around 44 native connections built into account settings, a 2,030-app marketplace, private integrations for your own API keys, and middleware like Zapier or n8n for the rest.
Knowing which layer solves your problem saves a lot of wasted setup. This directory is written from inside a live agency account, so the menu paths and counts below are what you will actually see.
The Four Layers of GoHighLevel Integrations
| Layer | Where it lives | Use it for | Effort |
|---|---|---|---|
| Native integrations | Settings → Integrations, plus dedicated items under Business Services | Ecommerce, accounting, ads, payments, project tools, email, phone, WhatsApp | Minutes, no code |
| App Marketplace | Agency sidebar → App Marketplace | Third-party tools, AI agents, dialers, dashboards | Install and authorise |
| Private Integrations | Settings → Private Integrations | Your own API tokens for internal scripts and tools | Low, but technical |
| Middleware and API | External (Zapier, Make, n8n) or direct API | Anything the first three do not cover | Medium to developer |
Work down the list, not up. Most integration questions are answered by layer one or two, and reaching for Zapier first is the commonest way to add cost you did not need.
Layer 1: Native Integrations (Start Here)
This is the layer most guides badly understate. Inside any sub-account, Settings → Integrations lists roughly 44 native connections, each with a Connect or Manage button. No middleware, no per-task fee.
| Category | Native integrations available |
|---|---|
| Ads & social | Facebook (and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok Messaging, TikTok Lead Ads, Google Lead Ads |
| Google account (Drive, Sheets, Gmail, Analytics, AdWords), Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Forms | |
| Ecommerce | Shopify, WooCommerce, Printful, Printify, Shippo, Shipstation |
| Accounting | QuickBooks, Xero, Wave |
| Payments | Stripe, PayPal, Square and more via Payments and Checkout |
| Messaging | WhatsApp, Slack |
| Project management | Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Notion, Basecamp, Todoist, Linear, Jira, Airtable |
| Scheduling & forms | Calendly, Cal.com, Typeform |
| CRM & email | HubSpot, Klaviyo |
| AI & data | OpenRouter, Mistral AI, Manus, Apify, Browse AI, Fathom |
| Vertical tools | Clio (legal), Housecall Pro (field service), Canva (design) |
Check this list before paying for anything. Shopify, QuickBooks, HubSpot and Klaviyo are all native, and a lot of published advice still tells you to wire them up through Zapier. That advice is out of date.
Ad platform lead forms need a second step
The Integrations screen carries dedicated tabs for Facebook Form Fields Mapping, TikTok Form Fields Mapping and LinkedIn Form Fields Mapping. Connecting the ad account is only half the job — skip the mapping and leads arrive with blank custom fields.
Map fields before launching the campaign. Leads captured beforehand do not backfill.
Connections that live outside the Integrations list
A few are important enough to get their own sidebar entry under Business Services: Email Services (LC Email, Mailgun or SMTP — see our email setup guide), Phone System, WhatsApp and Calendars.
Data plumbing worth knowing
Sitting alongside Integrations in the same settings area: Objects (custom objects beyond contacts), Custom Fields, Custom Values, Import Data, Manage Scoring for lead scoring, and External Tracking for analytics pixels.
Create custom fields before importing or syncing anything. Incoming data with no matching field is dropped silently, with no error.
Layer 2: The App Marketplace
The marketplace sits in the agency sidebar and currently lists 2,030 apps. It is organised into All Apps, Installed Apps, App Reselling, AI Agents, Earnings, Support Tickets, Templates and Collections.
Filters that make it usable
Two thousand apps is unusable without filtering. The available filters are Categories, App Contains, Business Niche, Built By, Pricing, target user, and who can install the app. Business Niche is the most underused — it surfaces tools built specifically for dental, legal, fitness and similar verticals.
The most-installed apps
Install counts are shown publicly on each listing, which makes them a reasonable proxy for what actually works. At the time of writing:
| App | Installs | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| My CRM Support | 419.4K | Support layer for CRM users |
| Pabbly Connect | 245.2K | Automation platform, a Zapier alternative |
| Create Assistants Hybrid-Agents | 126.8K | No-code voice and chat AI agents |
| Canva | 79.5K | Design, built by LeadConnector (HighLevel’s own label) |
| WAVV Dialer | 73.7K | Embedded multi-line dialer |
| myCRMSIM | 73.5K | SMS, iMessage and WhatsApp messaging |
| Consolidata | 69.9K | Client-facing marketing dashboards |
Worth noting: the most-installed automation app is Pabbly Connect, not Zapier. Agencies running many sub-accounts tend to move off per-task pricing quickly.
The WL badge
Listings carry a WL marker when the app supports white-labelling. If you resell under your own brand, filter for this first — installing a non-white-label app puts another company’s name inside the platform you are selling as yours.
App Reselling
The marketplace has its own App Reselling and Earnings tabs, meaning agencies can resell marketplace apps to sub-accounts and track revenue from it. It is a genuine margin line that most GoHighLevel guides never mention.
Layer 3: Private Integrations
Separate from the marketplace, Settings → Private Integrations is where you generate API tokens for your own internal tools without publishing anything publicly.
This is the right layer when you have a developer and a specific job: a custom dashboard, a nightly sync, a script that provisions sub-accounts. You get scoped credentials without the overhead of building a marketplace app.
Treat these tokens like passwords. Scope them to the minimum permissions needed and rotate them when someone leaves the team. Audit Logs, also in Settings, records what was accessed.
Layer 4: Middleware and the API
| Tool | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Zapier | Fastest setup, widest app catalogue | Per-task cost climbs with volume |
| Pabbly Connect | Available in-marketplace, flatter pricing | Smaller catalogue than Zapier |
| Make | Visual branching, complex transformations | Steeper learning curve |
| n8n | Self-hosted, cheapest at high volume | You maintain the server |
| Direct API and webhooks | Full control, no per-task fee | Needs a developer |
Webhooks are the underused option. The workflow builder can fire a webhook as an action, so a single workflow step often replaces an entire paid automation task.
Popular Specific Integrations
Shopify and WooCommerce
Both native. The Shopify card imports and syncs customer and order details and exposes Shopify events as workflow triggers. Full walkthrough in our Shopify and GoHighLevel guide.
QuickBooks, Xero and Wave
All three are native. Connect from Settings → Integrations to sync contacts and simplify invoicing without re-keying data into accounting.
HubSpot and Klaviyo
Both native. HubSpot connects over OAuth to manage contacts, companies and deals; Klaviyo syncs customer data for email and SMS campaigns. Useful when you are running GoHighLevel alongside an incumbent rather than replacing it outright.
ActiveCampaign
Notably not in the native list, which makes it the one major marketing platform you still have to bridge or migrate manually. See our GoHighLevel ActiveCampaign integration guide.
Native, with its own settings entry as well as an Integrations card. There are also marketplace alternatives bundling SMS, iMessage and WhatsApp together.
Social platforms
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business Profile and X connect through the social planner. Ad-side lead forms are configured separately under Integrations.
How to Choose Without Overbuilding
- Check native first. Open Settings → Integrations and the Business Services menu before assuming you need a third-party tool.
- Search the marketplace second. With 2,030 apps, filter by Business Niche and sort by installs.
- Try a webhook third. A workflow webhook action often removes the need for a paid connector entirely.
- Only then reach for middleware, and pick based on your monthly task volume rather than the sticker price.
Before adding anything, ask whether GoHighLevel already does the job. Running a parallel tool creates two sources of truth, and reconciling them almost always costs more time than the integration saves.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many apps are in the GoHighLevel marketplace?
The App Marketplace currently lists around 2,030 apps, filterable by category, business niche, pricing, developer and who can install them.
Where are integrations configured in GoHighLevel?
Native integrations are under Settings then Integrations inside each sub-account, with email, phone, WhatsApp and calendars having their own entries under Business Services. Marketplace apps install from the agency-level App Marketplace.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with Zapier?
Yes, but check the native list first: around 44 integrations including Shopify, QuickBooks, HubSpot and Klaviyo connect directly without Zapier. For the rest, Zapier, Make, n8n and Pabbly Connect all work.
What are Private Integrations in GoHighLevel?
Private Integrations let you generate scoped API tokens for your own internal tools without publishing a public marketplace app.
Can I white-label marketplace apps?
Some. Listings show a WL badge when white-labelling is supported, which matters if you resell the platform under your own brand.
Why are my Facebook leads missing information?
Connecting the ad account is only half the setup. You also need to map fields under the Facebook Form Fields Mapping tab, and leads captured before mapping do not backfill.
